    The little things that Gane brings to the table, from including broken glass in Claire's hair to debris littering the ruins of a mini-mall, work together with the higher concept ideas, like an homage to the (in)famous Godzilla flying through the air shot that we saw in so many movies. He's simply an incredible talent and is perfect for this book. Godzilla is in great shape under the care of Swierczynski, Gane, and colorist Pattison"even if the world they've created looks like it's still got a lot of punishment yet to take. Read Full Review

    Overall, another average issue. It wasn't bad, but sometimes this is barely a Godzilla story. The title monster literally has no purpose as he walks through Tokyo. We have another disappointing debut from a fan favorite monster. (Or rather robot.) In the end, nothing major was truly accomplished other than the ending where you're going to go, "The heck is she talking about?" It made me intrigued for the next issue. Let's when hope when Mothra comes next month things get better. Read Full Review
