  The flaws of this issue are minimal, whilst reading the Action Scientists' storyline about formulating a plan to get Robo, there is a switchback back and forth between the scientists to the government agency hunting down Robo and any known associates. The military storyline is a bit dull and provokes little interest. The absence of Atomic Robo's presence hits fans of the series deep in the soul, devotees will find themselves missing Robo's humor and wise cracks, which makes the mission to find him all that more urgent!   Atomic Robo is seriously one of my favorite comic series. It's so much fun to read, and reminds you comics are supposed to be exactly that. With a new publisher hopefully it'll become more available and on more people's radar, because it's one of the series I have no hesitation at all recommending.   The issue's B-story involves the new day-to-day life within Tesladyne, now controlled by Majestic 12 (under their new brand ULTRA), which begins to answer questions about why the group went to such lengths to take control of the company. The Action Scientists better get their boss back into fighting shape soon; it appears the world is going to need him. Worth a look. Read Full Review

  Atomic Robo: The Ring of Fire can be a tough jumping on point if you haven't read any previous installments. However, it tells a gripping story with some interesting characters in a compelling world. The team chemistry is on top display here, but it can be overshadowed by the scenes in Tokyo which were hard to figure out, especially since Biomegas are never defined in this issue. In addition, it is unclear whether or not the military there are actual villains, heroes, or something in between. Read Full Review
