Comic Bastards - Dustin Cabeal
Apr 09, 2014This issue was probably my favorite in the series thus far and I really enjoyed the set up for the next story line that not only was sprinkled in throughout the issue, but especially at the end. JMS and the creative team paid this franchise a respect. They didn't just come in and try to copy the original nor did they try to stray far from it. Rhymes With Geek - Matt Lune
Apr 09, 2014It'll definitely work better as a trade, where it will be easier to read it in the style of one complete episode. Plus the opening and closing monologues would have greater effect when taken as a whole. This issue, while not going to convert anyone new, serves as a decent end to the first tale and sets up the next arc to come nicely. Overall Score: 7.5 out of 10 Read Full Review

Comic Vine - Mat 'Inferiorego' Elfring

Issues #1 and #2 of this book were fantastic, but the last couple just don't hit the mark as well because it's a story that's meant to be read in one sitting. There's a few art problems here and there, but overall, the issue looks pretty nice and it's well written, even though there is a lot of expository dialogue here. This issue gets a mild recommendation, but the first story arc gets a big recommendation. Get this one in trade, for sure. Read Full Review

Apr 09, 2014Overall, I'm for a series like this, both just because it's The Twilight Zone in general, which I always thought was a great tv show, and because each issue is a self-contained story, with no crossovers and tie-ins, and offers the opportunity to have different writers and artists (especially beginner writers and artists!) for each issue. But, I hope further issues have stories that, while still having some kind of mystery, end up making sense"in a shocking and horrifying way, of course. Read Full Review
