Part one of the four part "Good For The Soul": Hughie visits The Legend, determined to find out more about The Boys- their history, their personalities, and their mysterious hidden agenda. Meanwhile, Annie January (alias Starlight) has her own doubts about membership of The Seven. This storyline also reveals a little more about the other members of the team- beginning with Butcher, and his relationship with CIA director Susan Rayner.

    The Boys is one of the best comics out there right now. The humor pushes the boundaries of good taste sometimeswell most times. If you want good taste watch Gandhi on DVD, if you want raunchy fun with a knowing wink and comic creators at their devious best read The Boys. Read Full Review

    I've heard a decent amount of complaint about the direction The Boys has taken following its first arc, which was a more conventional (and therefore less original) approach to superhero satire. I for one enjoy the new route taken by Ennis and Robertson, which has made this series so much more than a mere vehicle for Ennis to make fun of capes. Read Full Review
