'Cause you don't have time to do both, and those evil, awful East German spies are gonna kill one if you rescue the other. So what's it gonna be? Lose your boss, or the leader of the free world? Too bad there are only three Angels, and not six... right? The MIND SHATTERING conclusion of "The Devil You Know." This is sexy crimefightin' comics done right, to you by sexy crimefightin' comics creators John Layman and Joe Eisma!

Oct 30, 2018OverallThis is a very satisfying conclusion to the story, which bridges the gap between the original 'Charlies Angels' and some of the other Angels from the original television series, but concludes thing in such a way that leaves it open for a more modern take on Charlies Angels with the original trio working behind the scenes. Which might actually be something that could work. Read Full Review

Oct 31, 2018Dynamite has been dealing with several 70's era properties the last few years and this one worked pretty well for me. Workman captured the characters and their personalities well so that you could connect with them and their story while largely focusing on the adventure itself - though I'd love to see side stories into their normal lives. Joe Eisma did a great job of bringing that 70's vibe to life here without going so detailed about it that it became a distraction. There's a nice ease to it that really delivers the goods and I had a whole lot of fun with this series. Hopefully, there's more to come both in this setting and the tease that we get at the end. Nov 03, 2018I had a lot of fun reading Charlie's Angels #5, and indeed the entire arc. The plot befits the TV show " a decent problem, but a whole lot of room for action and a certain amount of goofiness. There is clear affection for the show " and the time period. I think the epilogue is strong. It opens the door to a modern version of the story, but even if there isn't an ongoing series, it's a nice, tidy ending. It was a pleasure to suspend my disbelief for a while reading this book. Read Full Review
