Nov 13, 2019Though the larger story elements don't feel like they figure in too prominently here as it's all about the action, the book does a good job of showing us how these two work together. Sonja out of the cave and in the action has her feeling more alive than she has in a while and it's balanced against Vampirella learning some very troubling things and seeing more of her kind die before her eyes. It's a solidly done book with what it needs to achieve but it also does some great character work that has me wanting to see these two running together for a long time to come. Read Full Review
