An outstanding conclusion to this chapter in Sonja's life. The action is great, the revelation life changing for the Hyrkanian, and the visuals absolutely stunning. Red Sonja continues to be a magnificent series to follow. Read Full Review

Chu and Burnham do an excellent job of keeping the story on pace as well as giving the side characters the chance evolve with this story. The callbacks to previous arcs work as well to give context to Sonja's motivations, especially the choice she makes in the end. Read Full Review

The art, I have absolutely no complaints about. I’m unfamiliar with Carlos Gomez, but he has made a fan of me with this issue. I love the fact that everything he draws seems to have such a nice flow to it throughout the issue. His style is very reminiscent of Amy Reeder who is a favorite of my mine, so I was instantly hooked. Read Full Review

Really fun issue this month and a big improvement on last month. All the loose ends were tied up although given how much was going on in this arc, some of them were a little rushed for my liking. The fight between Sonja and a huge great white shark was brilliant, though, and Carlos Gomez' art was as good as it always is. A good finish to a very strong story overall, even if #20 killed the momentum a little.
