The Artwork by Jen St-ongecontinues to do some really nice things. I loved the drawings of Nancy and the gang when they were kids exploring the same caves and the facial expressions are really well drawn. There is kind of a Japanese influence to the drawing with the use of rather large eyes. Read Full Review

Kelly Thompson (and Co.'s) version of Nancy Drew will likely be the definitive version of this character for a generation or more. The story is smart and so is the art. Nancy Drew #2 has a big heart and a good sense of humor " some qualities that are not easy to achieve in a moment where cynicism reigns supreme. Getting on board here at issue #2 is no disadvantage to readers, but with characters as classic as Nancy Drew, in the hands of these capable creators, it might not hurt to follow the series for every clue you can get. 4/5. The second installment of this book continues to shine due to the interesting and unique nature of Nancy Drew as a character. In addition, her supporting cast all are given important roles and minor story arcs of their own. The dialogue is sharp and interesting while the main point of the story is solidly grounded in the Nancy Drew lore developed in the books near a century ago. Once again, I'm left wondering who this comic run of Nancy Drew is for. I was hoping the mystery would sink its teeth into me in this issue, but there really is nothing here to drum up any interest. It seems that the entire existence of a mystery is in place as an excuse to consistently remind us all of how hip and millennial these new renditions of classic characters are. It does a great job of highlighting the creator's overly-transparent social views, but so far… that's about it. Read Full Review

I find it bowering. Cover - The variant. Nice but not related. 1/2 Writing - This is a story for kids. And I too grown-up to be interested. Shame because she tend to give a real personality to the supporting cast. 1.5/3 Arts - Love the art, simple & funny. I like the layout even if their is a lack of background. In the cave I understand, but come one not in the library. 2.5/3 Feeling - Not interested. 0/2
