    This was a solid story and a very worthy addition to the legacy of Tarzan. It's just a shame that Dynamite has to title this comic Lord of the Jungle due to licensing reasons because this was a very worthy Tarzan story that would make for a great movie. Read Full Review

    LORD OF THE JUNGLE #6 delivers a near-perfect ending to a pitch-perfect Tarzan series. Jurgens captures the spirit of heroism and adventure for one of Pulps most famous heroes, and Gallegos art is stellar. But for one glaring plot hole, this would be a perfect finale. Read Full Review

    The idea of an aging Tarzan returning to the jungle to set some things straight is actually a really intriguing idea. It's just too bad that Jurgenss plot structure is so weighted down in unnecessary details. Had Jurgens focused just a bit more on the psyche of the hero and not what was going on in the world around him, it might have been a more fascinating psychological journey with the character. As it is, theres nothing specifically wrong with the story. Its just not very interesting.  Read Full Review
