Jan 27, 2021Overall. The Agatha Christie feel of this story reminded me of countless movies and TV shows have seen over the years. Though I don't think any of them had a heroic Elephant called Tuskems. In a sense, it was the use of the Agatha Christie-style mystery that gave this comic a warm and familiar feeling. Although I had pretty much figured out who the villains were a couple of issues back. But, despite that. I still had fun following along with the story. It's a fun read, but not the best Bettie Page story to come from Dynamite. Read Full Review

Jan 17, 2021BETTIE PAGE (Vol. 4) #5, available from Dynamite Comics on January 27th, 2021, caps the current run by solving all the mysteries (that were already solved) in Bettie's signature style. The story is ridiculous in a clever way and the art projects that classic Hollywood feel. If you're a fan of classic comedies, Bettie Page, or just some silly fun, this is a recommendation. Jan 27, 2021I hate that Bettie Page comics went from one of the most interesting and fun series of the last few years, a property I was super surprised I got hooked on in a big way, to one that just made me not even want to finish reading the finale of the current series. While it looks great and has some fantastic design elements " and gorgeous covers as always " Pacheco's story simply didn't generate enthusiasm or interest and fell flat for a number of reasons. Hopefully, if she gets a second series to work with the character, we get something more interesting for one of the more interesting characters out there. Read Full Review
