And make no mistake, that's purely intentional.  That she rules increasingly larger portions of the galaxy with an iron grip and a wave of fear is not remotely in question.  Why she wants to wipe out every human is.  And why Barbarella is targeted to be the first and most important human to die is the deadliest question of all!

    BARBARELLA (VOL. 2) #6 hits the PAUSE button on the main plot of the volume to build out the character of Vix. Side stories can be hit or miss, but Hoyt pulls this one off with charm, humor, and subverts expectations to successfully give the entire relationship between Barbarella and Vix double meaning. The art duties have changed, and while the output is not as impressive, its fine work for an entertaining issue overall. Read Full Review

    Barbarella continues to delight and I really enjoy these kinds of one-off standalone pieces that we occasionally get. Yes, there's a lot of good stuff in serialized arcs and all, but the lost art of a standalone issue still delights me to no end when done well. Read Full Review
