Aug 17, 2011This series has been pretty good, but Beechen captures 'Z' in a way I have not really seen. I love her interpretation in this issue. Uriah is a mischievous yet likeable character which might remind you of Damian Wayne. This is by far one of my favorite issues in Zatanna'z series, and one that will leave you wishing the series was not ending. Definitely worth picking up. Read Full Review

Aug 23, 2011There is not much to say about Zatanna #16, except that it is fun and you should probably read it. Ideally, I would like to see a return to Paul Dini and a continuation to the story that began in earlier issues. It is my understanding that Zatanna is not one of the series starting over with a new first issue come September, so I do not know what exactly DC is waiting for in continuing Zatanna's main story. However, if we have to have stand-alone issues, I certainly hope there will be more like this one. Read Full Review

Aug 21, 2011Fun and delightfully imaginative, supported by quite possibly some of the best art in the land, it's a generous send-off for a title that never got on its feet. Read Full Review

Aug 24, 2011It wasn't a bad issue, but it wasn't as good as it could have been, and she deserved a better send off. Eybdoog, Annataz. Read Full Review

Aug 23, 2011This is a good filler issue, getting a perfectly average score of 3 stars. There's no specific reason to pass it up, but neither is there any special reason to get it. If you've been reading Zatanna you might as well finish off your collection, if you have been wanting to read Zatanna you might as well pick this up as it doesn't require any history with the character, but if you don't care about Zatanna this issue won't convince you otherwise.
