World's Finest #24

Although we don't get much interaction between the pair, as a penultimate issue Worlds' Finest #24 works well as the threat to Huntress and the city is far more grave without the safety net of Power Girl swooping in until her bestie already has the situation well in hand. The comic is a must read for fans of Earth 2 who were wondering if Huntress and Power Girl will make it back home. It's a little reminder of their adventures before saying their farewells in the next issue.It'll be interesting to see their reactions to what's happening on their home planet. Read Full Review

Maybe if it was more willing to juxtapose how Huntress was taught by Earth-2 Batman with how ‘our' Batman operates this issue could have been more interesting. Until there's a writer that makes that choice though, the best things about WORLDS' FINEST this week are unintentional storytelling. Read Full Review

McDaniel's art is a bit rough but not as distorted as the recent fare by Silva. I do know Tyler Kirkham is coming on the book soon. And judging by some previews he has put up on Twitter the book will look slick. But I am counting down here ... unless something dramatically changes. Read Full Review

When I started my foray into the New 52, I began with Earth 2 and what I called it's companion piece Worlds' Finest.  These were the books that got me back into comics, and what I was most excited about.  Here we are two years later, and I would never recommend this book to anyone.  It's for the most part just nonsense, and what not to do as a superhero.  If you're still planning on getting this book I hope you understand Boston locations and public transportation slang because for some reason the writer decided that it was important to the story.  I may come off harsh, but I would love this book to be good, I really would.
