Sep 22, 2014Over the course of Futures End, numerous characters have been strained or distorted by the circumstances of this future. It's not entirely dystopian, but it's no hippie dreamscape either. Some have lost their way completely. Some have disappeared altogether for reasons not fully explained. That's why Wonder Woman's story in Wonder Woman: Futures End #1 is so refreshing. It shows a Wonder Woman that has been affected by this future, but not in a way that deviates from the core of her character. She's still a beacon of hope and love. And for a God of War, that's saying something. Read Full Review

Sep 17, 2014Wonder Woman – Futures End #1 was solid aside from those few things pointed out above, though it obviously could have been better. Pick it up if you are reading Superman/Wonder Woman or if you have the money to pick up both since Futures End tie-ins don't require that much investment in them. Definitely pick it up if you like the interior art because that is the selling point. Read Full Review

Sep 17, 2014Wonder Woman: Futures End #1 is an odd title. It's more for fans of the regular run instead of a Futures End story. As such, it's pretty good. Sep 20, 2014This issue falls around the "decent" category with an average storyline and art that rounds out to be average. This issue give you a lot of information and delves more into Wonder Woman becoming the Avatar of War and the responsibility that she must endure. Read Full Review

Sep 19, 2014A war is coming, one the Goddess of War is going to have difficulty fighting, and I, for one, am going to be watching it every step of the way. Cannot wait for next month! Read Full Review

Sep 18, 2014Maybe I'm not one for the big events, but few and far between are the books that actually succeed at what I think FUTURES END is setting out to try and do. Read Full Review

Sep 22, 2014"Wonder Woman: Futures End" #1 doesn't fall down on the job, but it certainly stumbles a few times. The book looks great (even with multiple inkers), but this first half a two-part story (concluded in "Superman/Wonder Woman: Futures End" #1) doesn't have quite the punch that its setup promises. Sep 22, 2014Another passable Futures End tie-in, one that feels like a weak copy of the storyline already running on the series. Read Full Review
