Jul 24, 2015Overall, this is an exceptional issue of Wonder Woman. The artwork perfectly accompanies the storyline, and the tale it tells is a completely new twist on things. This entire creative team just keeps getting better and better, and I hope they continue to work for this series for a very long time. With this storyline unfolding as it is, I can't wait to see what happens next. And as I said last month: Wonder Woman's new outfit is awesome! Read Full Review

Jul 22, 2015Wonder Woman continues to impress me as we delve deeper in this story arc and find out who her mysterious attacker was in the previous issue and his motivations behind the attack. While this issue is a bit Wonder Woman light because of it setting up the villains of the story, I had a great time throughout and as always loved the art. Read Full Review

Jul 22, 2015With a strong plot like this, I definitely want to know what happens next. Hopefully the dialogue will pick up in the next issue, and Im sure, in time, Ill become a little warmer on the art style for the book. Sometimes I just miss Chiang, but I understand all things must end. Read Full Review

Jul 23, 2015Overall the storyline falters a bit since the last issue, but it does still have potential to be much better than the last arc. Meredith Finch's kiss of death was the opening club scene and after that it seems to recover a bit. David Finch does an excellent job with art as usual. Read Full Review

Jul 23, 2015The series has grown strangely dull since the conclusion of Meredith and David Finch's first story arc. This chapter does little more than showcase Diana dancing in a nightclub and flesh out the origin of her new nemesis, Aegeus. Read Full Review

Aug 06, 2015The opening scene is a familiar situation for any female clubgoers– while dancing, a man approaches Diana and after being shut down, attempts to grab her without her permission. She of course, puts him in his place. Following that, and prior to Diana's hit, the womencome across a homeless man and offer to take care of him. Once again, in very few pages, Meredith & David Finch are able to conveyDiana not just as a goddess, but as an everyday hero who stands up for herself and helps others. Wonder Woman doesn't have a hero complex; she's relatable and kind, but has a strong sense of justice. It's easy to admire her and look up to her because she seems perfect — a point brought up in the end in the conversation between Donna and a strange woman. Is it a hint to the underlying themes for this new arc? Read Full Review
