    "Rise of the Olympian" is far from a train wreck. It is, however, far from the most impressive thing Simone has written. The story so eagerly wants to be considered as this grand epic of a superhero story that it almost comes off as the kid in high school who tried a little too hard to convince the other kids he was cool. Simone would have been far more successful at making me buy into this drama had she dialed it down a bit and stuck with only the most intriguing and inspired threads. Read Full Review
