  Unfortunately, there's still a lot to complain about when it comes to Trinity. I can enjoy superhero fight scenes as much as anyone, but I really expect something more from a book as supposedly as major and all-encompassing as this. I hate to keep using 52 as the gold standard after all this time, since that series was hardly without its flaws, but why can't anyone seem to craft a weekly book that manages to be as consistently interesting? Busiek and his co-creators literally have the entire DCU to play with. And though they've certainly extended their reach to numerous characters, none seem to have much to offer. The knowledge that I'm supposed to follow this story for another nine months is disheartening. It's going to take a lot more improvement than this to cheer me up. Read Full Review

  Monsignor Wanty: wants to stop sounding like a broken CD when he says again that Trinity needs a little oomph to go along with its hmmm and its schwingg. Is that too much to ask for? Let's pray it isnt. Read Full Review

  Unfortunately, all of those interesting ideas are pulled off in the most mundane ways possible. If you put "Trinity" #12 next to a generic DC book published 15 years ago, I don't think you'd find much difference. Read Full Review
