May 26, 2010So in the end, what we have here is a stand-alone adventure that doesn't stand on its own very well due to how little it says about its characters or the story's subject matter, and the first part of a two-part tale that doesn't do much of a job setting up part two. Doesn't sound like much, does it? Luckily, JMS is good enough to make the issue work surprisingly well despite its fundamental flaws. At the very least, it's fun to watch JMS play these characters off each other in a story that takes an unexpectedly grounded take on over-the-top sci-fi. Read Full Review
