All in all, this is a solid issue that might be overlooked considering its lack of relevance to the DCU at large, but it's a reminder that you don't have to do too much to make Superman a compelling character. Read Full Review

While the concept of this issue sounds cool enough, the reality was a filler issue with pacing problems that didn't let any of the moments have the impact they could have.  On top of that, I was a bit confused with the cliffhanger and what it actually means going forward.  I'm sure someone will school me on it, but I don't know if I'll like it even then. With a solid conclusion and a good cliffhanger to lead into "Superman" #48, "Superman/Wonder Woman" #25 takes a slightly uninspiring first half and rallies into a strong finish. It's nice to see this "Savage Dawn" storyline start to wrap up the Superman titles' current story arc, if only because it'll be good to see the various creative teams unleashed after it's over. Tomasi, Mahnke and company have little sparks of fun and interest here, and hopefully they'll get to follow up on them a bit more before too long. Read Full Review
