The Lois/Brainiac outfit seems odd. The 'tell them not to trust me' seems unnecessary since no one seems to trust heroes in the New 52. And the Titans scene seems forced. Why would Lois know about this ... unless she is psionically scanning the world. And why send Superman there? Especially since she doesn't think anything matters. All in all, it was an issue that started strong and got weaker as it went. It does help the Infected arc to move along some, which is good. The unpopular subplot with Lois was part of the book, but seemed more like a reminder than actual story. I'd recommend this story to the diehards, but the casual reader will probably want to skip it. If you need your "Doomed" fix then pick this one up, but if you choose to skip it, know that you won't be missing anything important. Read Full Review

You're not missing much from this issue and the book seems like it's moving too slow while two issues ago it was moving too fast. You can pick this up if you want, but it doesn't add much closure to Lobdell's run. Read Full Review

There is no reason to read Superman #31.  It is an awful book for Doomed readers and Superman fans in general.  Just skip it and hope we get back to business in next week's Action Comics.  Lets all pretend this didn't happen. Read Full Review

After reading the first 4 issues of Lobdell's run (#13-16) i dropped the book as it was boring and very dialogue heavy. But this issue was better than those 4 issues but not enought to make me read everything inbetween. Bring on Geoff Johns.
