Now that Mon-El is back and in Metropolis again, its going to be interesting to see how he and his former colleagues in The Metropolis Sci-Police readjust to one another. The Guardian revealed Mon-Els secret identity (which was a mistake on Robinsons part storytelling wise) to the group at his wake, so the interesting plot device of a secret identity is for naught now, but with Mon-El taking a role in The Justice League soon, he might end up having to be in costume all the time anyway. Either way, Mon-Els adventures warrant further reading, whichever book hes starring in. Read Full Review

So it's same as it's been for Robinson's Superman and the franchise as a whole. On a positive note, someone other than Geoff Johns has finally done something with the whole "Legionnaire sleeper agents" storyline. It's nothing major, but it is something. Read Full Review

The problem is an issue like this seems like wasted space for me when there are so many unanswered questions and prior events that I have been waiting to learn about. Instead of just enjoying this issue for what it is, I end up thinking about this over arcing story as a whole. When will some of the prior subplots be shown again? Or wrap up? I know that isn't fair to the creative team to feel this issue is something of a failure because I am looking for the overall plotline to be advanced. But that is how I feel. Javier Pina's art seemed a bit different than his usual. His lines seemed a bit thicker. Still, it is a clean style which works well with the Super titles. Read Full Review
