This annual was fun. There were a lot of reveals, Emerald Empress shares exactly why she is trying to bring down Supergirl. We learn more about Indigo, and theres some insane things leading into issue 13. The writers have been good with mixing story and action. They have also been good with making you care a lot for Kara as shes going through this weird change with her powers. Pick up the annual and judge for yourself. My rating 8.5/10. Read Full Review

The general idea is strong, the action has weight and Orlando's characterization of Kara is a joy, particularly with how she responds to family, but it also feels like it's one script pass away from attaining the heights it should be soaring at. Read Full Review

Steve Orlando continues his "Emerald Eradication" story and while we get to see a bit of the big picture, it's presented in a convoluted mess of a story.  The art is okay, but there is nothing here that I can recommend to anyone but the most loyal Supergirl fans.  I am one of those and I'm still looking for the exit. A very dumb story. Why the hell the Fatal five didn't stick together ? At lest Magog who was nowhere to be found before Selene teleport herself & him in close range to Dr Veritas base. I didn't understand this new Indigo. She turn against Grundy but seems to be against Supergirl too. I find dumb that Emerald empress didn't kill Chase. And I was not interested by Selene attacking Kat Grant. And Saturne Girl is not in this story & I brought it hoping to see her. The art is not bad, but not very good, but I like the fact that their find have something of a little comic. The cover is nice even if that wasn't the encounter promised that we see inside.
