Supergirl #15

I cant wait for the next issue to see how Kara and Hel's "relationship" has developed, and to hopefully find out H'el's true intentions. What frustrates me about this series is that it is so hard to find reviews for it. Type "Supergirl #15 review" on a search engine and what you will notice straight away is the absence of the big comic book sites on the search results. This series is getting ignored for some reason and that should really not be the case. If you are buying this book then well done for supporting it, and if you are not then I really suggest giving it a try. Read Full Review

Per usual, this chapter of H'El on Earth was an interesting read because it is so strong on characterization. Here we see just how Supergirl might be persuaded to join this villain, to turn her back on her new planet, to try to find love in someone who is hurting as much as she is. It is a much better story than the sullen reasons seen in Superman. Again, I do wish Supergirl was smart enough and curious enough to ask a few more questions. Read Full Review

All in all, this was a much more satisfying chapter in the "H'el on Earth" saga. Well-written, with attractive art, this one moved things along nicely. Hopefully, it's a sign that the rest of the crossover will come together as well as this issue did. We'll find out soon enough, but things are looking up! Read Full Review

Although it's great to see Kara wearing her heart on her sleeve, sharing an awesome moment with her best friend, and having these events pull on her heart strings; I think it's still a bit off that Kara isn't thinking about the consequences of her actions and is trusting H'el so blindly. Although it creates a great dynamic and leaves readers with a cliff-hanger, it was a bit predictable, wasn't it? I was also hoping to see the writer delve further into H'el's powers and get into the reasons for his actions. Hopefully we'll see more of that in the future. All in all, not a bad issue of SUPERGIRL, but not the best either. Read Full Review

At first glance Supergirl #15 is beautifully illustrated, with artwork impressive enough that it wouldn't be surprising if it were to literally leap off the page. The detail put into each character's facial expression is fantastic, and the color scheme used throughout is flawless.However, it was hard not to notice that Supergirl is incredibly thin, not just to the point of being in shape, as one could reasonably expect of Superhero, but to the point where her body proportions are alarmingly reminiscent of someone struggling with an eating disorder.
