Superboy #30

While there doesn't seem to be much in the ways of explaining what Superboy is up to in the present time, or where he might go from here, it was a pleasure to read nonetheless.  Kuder taking over the reigns of Superboy hopefully means we'll be given a character that we can actually stand, and bring some of the fans who have bailed on this title since Jon Lane Kent took over, back into the series.  I might just be optimistic, but it seems like there might be a light at the end of the tunnel for this psychotic character, and whether it turns out the way I hope, I'll be along for the ride, and so should you.  Go check it out, this could be a brave new world for Jon Lane Kent. I'm not in love with the New 52's take on Superboy but there's a lot to like here. Aaron Kuder has proven himself a capable writer and he attempts to make sense of the recent events of the book. Read Full Review

What a difference a fresh perspective can make. Aaron Kuder come on board and changes the direction of the series. The plot revolves around Superboy seeing different versions of himself come to track him down to hold him accountable. This dynamic adds interesting wrinkles to the story. Now we want to know if the other Superboys are real, if Jon has it in himself to change, and what the end result will be. Jorge Jimenez does a good job with the art, but it does get slightly Manga-ish at times.
