Supergirl Comic Box Commentary - Anj

    Dec 17, 2012

So this is a decent issue. I have some worries about Supergirl (I always do). And some of the dialogue seemed off. More importantly, there wasn't much progress on the storyline itself. Plus the art was so mishmash it was a bit rattling. But the mystery of Superboy deepened a bit. And Superman proved himself to Superboy as a force of good. That part was solid. I hope we get RB Silva back soon. Read Full Review

Not much to say here since not much happens, apart from character development. That said, this is Superboy's best installment thus far and I'm finally getting excited for what's to come. I do hope Hell on Earth and the crossover initiative with the Superbooks starts getting better, possibly giving He'L a better placement within Superman's line of villains. Fingers crossed! Comic Vine - Sara 'Babs' Lima

    Dec 12, 2012

The issue had its redeeming qualities; it was great to see the interaction between Superboy and Superman and it's exciting to look forward to the development of their relationship in the future. Having said that, there is definitely a lot of things I didn't really enjoy about this issue. First, a lot of the dialogue felt forced and corny, and I thought it could have been better executed. I really wasn't crazy about the art in this issue, I felt it was lacking and that the various different art styles on the issue only served to pull me out of the story. Also, it's a bit odd how H'el just shows up out of nowhere. Very strange. I think the good things about this issue is that it does give fans some insight into Superboy and how he differs from both Superman and Superboy as far as his power set and molecular make-up go. I thought that was definitely interesting. Overall, not the best issue of Superboy but not the worst one either. Read Full Review

    Comic Booked - Madison Miller

    Jan 29, 2013

By the end of the comic, they agree to find a way to defeat Hel together. In fact, the ending seems rather anti-climatic until, in a surprising twist, Hel mysteriously appears in the midst of Supermans haven, and commandeers the place for himself, throwing them both out. Read Full Review

Well, I'll tell you what. I've caught up on every single issue of every Super-book and I can say no matter how much you've read, H'el on Earth sucks. Read Full Review
