A peaceful day in Metropolis is interrupted when Brimstone comes to clear a path for Darkseid. This looks like a job for...Supergirl!? Yes, because Superman is out of town visiting his new baby brother! But villainous plots are afoot on New Krypton, too. Is anywhere safe for our superheroes?

DC Comics News - Sean Blumenshine

This is a really fun issue full of personality and charm. I really hope kids are reading this either in print or digital. It's fun, bright and engaging. I think adults will get a kick out of it as well, though. It's almost satirical in its comedy but always genuinely funny. It's just a fun book to read. Read Full Review

    Weird Science - Jim Werner

Super Powers continues being my book for good, old fashioned fun.  Baltazar and Franco's story and art will make you smile even as you learn about DC characters both old and new, well known and obscure.  This is an all-ages book done right! Read Full Review

    Batman-News - Jay Yaws

Not every book needs to be like this one, but I'm glad we have Super Powers. It's a break from darkness and cynicism, a book that exists solely to be fun. As an all-ages book it works marvelously, and there's plenty here to reward longtime DC fans. Pick it up, leave any reservations at the door, and relive the pure joy of being a kid again. The characters facial expressions are the best. Their postures and pantomime are very good too. Get this comic, and let the kids in your life know about it! Read Full Review
