Apr 16, 2008As for all the naysayers who cried that the Shaggy Man is far too powerful a character to be controlled by an exploding chip in the brain, I think Ostrander answers your concerns quite effectively with this finale. As far as I'm concerned, there's nothing about Ostrander's portrayal of either the characters' personality or the limits of his powers that doesn't jive with his origin in Grant Morrison's JLA. And as for those fans that were worried where Ostrander would take Rick Flagg following the recent revelations of his past, the ending here should be enough to convince any fan that there's plenty of gas left in this wonderful character's tank.
