'Static: Shadows Of Dakota' #3 brings more of a focus to the character on the page helping set up the various players in the game and the paths that will eventually cause them to collide. Such a great emotional powerful series that takes us into a fleshed-out realistic feeling world that could leap off the pages at any moment. Read Full Review

Static: Shadows of Dakota is an interesting and very character driven follow-up to Season One. Nikolas Draper-Ivey, Vita Ayala, Wil Quintana and AndWorld Design are crafting a fantastic and horrifying tale of family loyalty with great writing, amazing art and absolutely stellar lettering with each issue they release. The Milestone return is in full effect and we certainly can't wait to see what comes next! Read Full Review

Static: Shadows of Dakota #3 tilts into the horror genre, reworking Ebon into one of the most frightening villains ever to graze the pages of a comic book. Now that we've hit the halfway point of the series, the stage is set for Static to battle one of his most fearsome foes. Let's hope it's a good matchup! Read Full Review

This comic isn't as exciting and dynamic as the previous two issues, but I do feel like it keeps its focus better than issues in the first Static miniseries. Read Full Review

Lyles Movie Files - Jeffrey Lyles

Draper-Iveys art looked especially unpolished and rough this issue. Some pages reflected his usual high quality animated style while others seemed rushed and done in more of a sketch style. Hopefully this was just a one-off rocky issue as Draper-Iveys art has been a major selling point of the title.Shadows of Dakota has been an intriguing title and theres no other way but to call this installment a disappointment.
