Scooby Apocalypse #16

The time has finally come for the gang to face the truest monster within the series, even if any chance of victory is snatched away by our unexpected savior. As I have stated, I never would have imagined someone so gruff with his own pack and pet could become something to be admired, if only for a brief moment. Overall issue #16 was pretty good. Keith Griffen and J.M. DeMatteis continue to walk us down an interesting narrative path. Ron Wagner and Andy Owens handle the art well, although there were a few panels where I was frustratingly unsure if I was looking at a dust cloud or an explosion. Read Full Review

I dont know how much life remains in this book. It seems to have gone on for awhile, progressing toward a resolution at a snails pace. I'd prefer to seesome significant advancement, maybe a victory or two to revive my flagging interest. Read Full Review

The beginning of this felt like a finale, which worried me because I don't want this series to end. However, we are lucky enough to at least get one more issue. I seriously hope this series transitions into something else after the Apocalypse story arc ends.
