Fun, until the end. I still look forward to every issue of this series and I've got to know where it's heading. Read Full Review

This issue is certainly one of the better issues of Red Lanterns in my opinion and hopefully it is the start of trend.  This issue delves further into the nature of sacrificing one's more nobler traits when rage takes hold while continuing to advance the "Rise of the Third Army" story.  Despite some less that wonderful dialogue in places and an art goof or two Red Lanterns #14 is a good read, but not a great one.  Three out of five lanterns. The Rise of the Third Army aspect of the book offers little to even the most dedicated fan of the Lantern mythos created by Geoff Johns. The Red Lanterns have had more time up close and personal with these bad guys than anyone else in the other Lantern books, but what they do with the knowledge feels wasted. If this series was a movie, the Mystery Science Theater 3000 guys would have had a field day tearing it apart. Read Full Review

This issue is all over the place. Milligan is trying to build a small group of Red Lanterns to focus on, which is a good idea, but few of them feel like complete characters. Milligan spent many issues creating some kind of Red Lantern Civil War, but now that's apparently in the past. Rankorr has been a big disappointment. Too many of Milligan's Red Lanterns are filled with doubt and lack conviction in their rage. They need to embrace their anger! That's why they were chosen to be Red Lanterns. Leave the superheroics to the Green Lanterns. I want to see some hardcore brutality! Oh well, at least the art is decent enough. Read Full Review

The artwork in this issue is very good. I really liked the story for the first part of the book, but then Milligan changes direction and instead of continuing with the "third army" plot, he goes off in another direction, sending the red lanterns to different planets to seek vengeance in order to strengthen the power battery. It seemed a little disconnected to me. Overall, it was still pretty good.

This issue actually started off really well but Milligan made a huge change of direction story wise midway through
