It appears to be the end of a two-part story. I appreciate the shorter story arcs than runover two or three issues, rather than the typical six issue epic that is inevitably repackaged as a trade paperback. By chapter 6, I often cant recall how/why the story started in the first place. Read Full Review

While I'm still waiting"somewhat impatiently"for more on Bizarro's decline, Red Hood and the Outlaws #17 provides plenty of fun and spectacular artwork to keep me (mostly) sated in the meantime. The art is fantastic, the dialog is top notch, but ultimately there isn't much to this issue at all.  Yeah, we're finally starting to understand what Smarty-Pants Bizarro is up to, but it's been a long road to get there and in the end, it doesn't seem like it needed to be.  Still some fun aspects to this though, it just didn't go as far as it should have to tell an even bigger story even though it had every chances to. Red Hood and the Outlaws #17 offers an opportunity for a team-up between the Outlaws and the Suicide Squad who head to the Arctic to destroy a Colony base whose continued operation poses a threat to the planet. Mainly an excuse to team-up the two groups, the issue has its individual moments (such as the back-and-forth between Artemis and Harley Quinn), but more often than not it's fan service rather than anything driving the plot. Honestly, this issue felt very much like a filler to me. Between this issue and the last two other issues, it's almost as if the editors told the Red Hood creative team to do some cross-overs with other popular characters in the DCU to garner extra interest in the title. Read Full Review

In the end, this issue continued a downward slope for the story set up in last months issue. I really hope the creative team gets back to the main story of Bizarros changes and how his intellect may not be the best thing for himself or the team. Read Full Review

I was ready to didn't like it. The presence of the suicide squad or harvest alone was bad news. And Lobdell surprised me doing one of his best story so far. For one he use with cleverness the cast he have in hand. He also use a new52 story without been to heavy about it. I feared a confrontation with harvest, but when they find it that make it impossible. And I see the writer mourning his story & character but in the good way to overcome it. He even (At my surprise) make a time in Killer Croc & Red hood part to talk about Roy situation. For now he presented Jason as without emotion that made the fact he didn't miss Kory or Roy logic. Their we see that's not that simple & that Lobdell miss them too. But Roy is in the titans now even if it's not "healthy for him" ^^ The end show that Jason didn't like change ... And it seem he would have to face another with Bizarro. I really hope Wealler will never have her hand of the three of them. Cover - A beautifull variant with Artemis & Harley. Shame it's not related more to this story. 1/2 Writing - A good reading really 3/3 Arts - I like dexter soy art ... But for this much of inking he isn't deodato 2/2 Feeling - I wonder what will Lobdell will do of this team next. I hope for more action than that we have seen for the moment. Because if not this ongoing will not stay in our memory. Shame because the character as more & more interesting. 1/2 more
