The art is fantastic and adds an inviting all-ages aspect to the comic as a whole. The writing has been stellar from the beginning, but this one is especially fun done up like a fairytale. The story is well contained but I actually wouldn't have minded staying in Ferimbia a bit longer. My guess is we haven't seen the last of these new concepts as long as Leah Williams remains the writer. Read Full Review

Power Girl #7 hurriedly wraps up the cartoon fairytale adventure with rushed scenes, semi-slapstick action, and tons of exposition. Williams was likely told to cut the story short to make way for Absolute Power, and it shows. Read Full Review

The problem is that this is not a solid run with a good interpretation, And only 7 issues in we have had a silent 'through the eyes of a pet' issue AND a two part cutesy, other world story. That is three off-brand issues out of seven. Too much, too soon, not earned. Read Full Review

I dont understand who Williams and DC editors are writing to. The first arc had some high points and went darker at moments. Then it got goofy, now it is just a book for kids. I contemplated reading this to my kid instead of reading it for myself. The art is not appropriate for a standard super-hero, let a lone power girl book. This is drawn like it is for kids. Now is it good art for kids? Yeah the art is honestly pretty great for a child audience. The story was literally written as a fairy tale kids story. This entire mini-arc was just a straight up fairy tale. Williams clearly has no one directing her. This was an ok kids tale but a total miss on what should have been a PG story for typical comic book readers, not 4-8 year olds. I suppose though if you did read it to a kid you might find the crude humor parts fun and your kid wouldnt understand it. That might be a small win. Editorial has failed and Williams seems to lack common sense. tl dr, its a decent ish kids tale, total miss as a PG book. more
