The mysteries are starting to unravel. Dick's been dealing with a lot since becoming part of Haly's Circus again. With the revelation of the book of names in issue #4 and upcoming solicits for this series, we know signs are pointing towards the upcoming Night of the Owls crossover in the Batman-Family books. Dick has been moving up to becoming a great detective but we're seeing that even he doesn't have all the answers. Overall, this issue is great! But I don't see this being end of the first arc for Nightwing. There's still to much left open! How will this end for Nightwing next month? I'm getting chills just thinking about it! Read Full Review

To be honest, I am disappointed. I was never exactly fond of Eddy Barrows style in general, since he has a tendency to draw everything in an extremely gritty style, that I fail to associate with Nightwing, but it was not bad artwork per se. However, in issue #6 this changes. I would even go so far and say, drastically. Issue #6 is by far the worst up until now when it comes to the artwork. The decrease in quality gets especially obvious in the second half of the book. Dick's facial structure that reminds me of a Neanderthal, flaws in the anatomy that simply can not be ignored and the wide-apart eyes of Raya make the artwork in Nightwing #6 a hardly enjoyable experience. There are some nice moments including Raya wavering on her part of Raymond's plan and an uncoonected scene involving a cops retreiving one of Nightwing's batons from a murder scene. Whether this is frame job is part of Raymond's plan, or something else, we'll just have to wait and see. Worth a look. Read Full Review

Higgins' story could have wrapped in this issue but instead drags on making "Nightwing" #6 easily forgotten, save a few character moments. Considering its strong opening page, the issue could have been exciting and memorable. The result is just unfortunate. Until now, "Nightwing" has been a fun offbeat romp, defying expectations of the stereotypical Batbook. Hopefully, readers will see that in the next issue. Read Full Review
