  If you're wondering if I liked this issue. ..I did.  Sean Ryan and Philippe Briones tied up their suicide squad run with a quick and tidy issue that made me wish it wasn't ending even more.  Ryan took a series that from me was a guilty pleasure and turned it into a book I looked forward to each and every month.  Instead of just showing crazy villains blowing shit up, he showed us why they do what they do and even how they want to change.  Instead of caricatures, he gave us characters who I cared about and who felt real.  I'll stop sounding like a fanboy and tell you to check out this issue and whole run if you already haven't.   It was really good and I'll miss it.   Read Full Review

  The Batman Universe - Mark Lemke

  I suggest to ignore the ending of this current arc as Tim Seeley, a rising star, takes over this book next month. He has proven his worth to DC and has been given this title just in time for people jumping to this comic due the Suicide Squad movie.   DC Comics News - Sean Blumenshine

  The only interesting thing in this issue is the conversation at the end. Deadshot is able to make good points and obviously hits a nerve. People often cannot help who they are. We can be trapped by our personalities, disabilities or simple choices and the various members of the Squad are all trapped in one form or another including Waller. However, other than that, this comic is boring. Sage isn't much of a threat and there just aren't any stakes. I'm not really invested in either side. Frankly, it might have been more interesting if Sage succeeded and Waller was disgraced and lost her power. That would be a change of pace but this story just re-establishes the traditional set up instead of doing something new and interesting. Overall, this is a disappointing finale. Read Full Review
