    Comics Bulletin - Ray Tate

    Manhunter is a witty, thankfully angst-free portrayal of a female super-hero, and in the world of Manhunter, being a super-hero isn't a curse, but something to which one aspires. Easy to do so when you have artists like Jesus Saiz, Jimmy Palmiotti and Steve Buccellato. Easy also when Marc Andreyko respects his characters and the reader's intelligence. Read Full Review

    Yeah, this is how the road to hell is paved, which I imagine will come into greater contrast when Kate confronts the JLA next issue for the first time. Jonn is likely to see right through her. But this walk on the seamier side of the DC-verse, so far, is refreshingly frank, and while Manhunter is pretty much already a criminal herself, her unwavering confidence is a pleasure to read.     Manhunter 4 is excellent. Jesus Saiz is the perfect artist for this book, and even though not a lot happened this issue, especially regarding Kate's life, I still found this new character very intriguing
