  About the only thing I didn't like here was the art really. Special guest artist Walter Simonson is a fan favorite, and I think he worked great on Thor, several years ago. Somehow, to me at least, it just looks odd here, almost cheesy here a few times, especially when characters smile. It's always featureless white, no details of the teeth. Ultra Boy's training was a bit odd, too; instead of using his powers, he seemed to be just hurling balls at targets. When has he been worried about being a pitcher? Read Full Review

  Supergirl Comic Box Commentary - Anj

  So some decent nuggets of characterization. But nothing exciting. I feel like the Legion right now is a comfortable read. But I was hoping for something more invigorating after the relaunch.   I just didn't get the point to the issue, as the multitude of small stories just reiterated my main problem with Legion books: a large portion of the book's pages are taken up with introductions and reminding the readers who the people are and what they're doing. Read Full Review
