There's a lot I liked about this issue. I enjoyed how it slowed down a bit to explore Batman's own internal conflicts and thoughts while also jumping right back into the action in the latter half. The fact that it zeroed in more on Batman this time rather than jumping between different storytellers really worked for me. And I'm intrigued by the place it leaves off. While I feel like there's still some aspects of the story that have yet to really come together, I'm excited to see where it all wraps up next month. Read Full Review

Ultimately, Legends of the Dark Knight #2 seeks to engage readers by answering the often-asked question, "Will Batman kill the Joker?" Although Robertson does a satisfactory job answering this inquiry, he does little to provide new insight into the conversation. As a result, we once again witness the same argument that Batman doesn't kill because he doesn't want to become what he hates. This issue's true strength lies within the introduction of a new character who drives the overarching narrative forward. Unfortunately, the narrative can feel disjointed at times as the combined chapters have different themes surrounding the Dark Knight. Read Full Review

All I want is a good story with no woke propaganda. I enjoyed the first issue of the series and I was even enjoying this issue and then "[a]nd to quote another clown..."you're fired!" Except I have better hair" I do not understand why these writers try so hard to be woke political activists. Really? You go out of your way to attack a former president that you, presumably, dislike? This woke activism is pathetic and it is ruining these stories. Please hire writers that are not SJWs. Shame on you Darick Robertson.
