Justice League of America #23 was a great action issue. McDuffie infuses plenty of excitement into this title with a much needed dramatic showdown with a big-time villain like Amazo. It is also nice to see McDuffie continuing to concentrate solely on plotlines that actually involve the JLA and not other DC titles. Read Full Review

Additionally, this is the second time in barely a year that we get Amazo using the Red Tornado's body to attack the JLA. How many times is this is going to happen? At this point, no matter how popular the Red Tornado is among his team-mates, they must really start questioning whether he is worth all the trouble. Read Full Review

We end with Amazo ready to kill Vix, and the whole issue goes by so fast, I'm not sureI have an opinion, other than:Something new, please?Ed Benes does his usual scratchy artwith pretty girls, and McDuffie at least nails the dialogue. Read Full Review
