Secondly, this book offers the promise of possibility and impossibility in equal measure. Dan Abnett pulls from the legions of stories that abandon the best-known tropes in pursuit of something greater. The result is infinitely grander. Justice League Odyssey pulls back the veil of limitations and shows just how much is still left to hope for even when logic and reason demand that the only conclusion is resigning to hopelessness. Justice League Odyssey refuses to give in. This reviewer stands proudly beside them. Read Full Review

Let's hope that Dan Abnett and Scott Snyder are on the same page. Read Full Review

Most of this issue is very good and gets you pumped up for the last issue, but there are a few spots that just bring it to a plateau and are honestly a disappointing use of panels that could have been better utilized. Orion pipes up on it when that starts to happen though, so awareness of that is appreciated. The art, especially when it comes to Darkseid and Hex using Epoch's time manipulator, is awesome.
