Justice League 3000 #8 is a thrilling and energetic adventure that offers more than just a good time. It's well written, charming, funny, and the characters are a joy to keep reading. As always, credit goes to the incredible art team of Howard Porter and Hi-Fi, who draw and color the 'pretty pictures,' continuing to show this book is just as much theirs as it is Giffen and DeMatteis'. Their work in bringing this world to life is unbelievable and would not be the same without them. If there's a fault to be found at all in this issue it's the cover, which shows Terri regenerated as The Flash. which spoils the big reveal in the issue's final pages. Her appearance is too brief to make any informed judgment, but if the rest of the series is any indication it's going to be great. Read Full Review

All in all Justice League 3000 #8 did a lot new and creative. New readers can easily get into this series with Justice League 3000 #8 and not have to hunt down the previous issues to get what's going on. I think the team has finally gotten to work together as a team it shows the way they try to take down an enemy who seems to be wining. I wonder how the team will get out of this situation in the next issue along with what other adventures they will have in the future from this. Read Full Review

Justice League 3000 #8 is a solid issue overall for the series. I'm liking the new direction, character development, and artwork a lot on this book. It's really come a long way, though there are still a few problems. If you are still here and have been debating whether or not to drop this book, don't. I have to say that this comic not only surprised me by getting so much better so fast, but it has also had some developments I have found really creative and entertaining. I am actually most intrigued that it is a series that took the entire threat of characters dying out of the hands of the reader, yet still has high enough stakes and compelling enough situations that it doesn't hurt the narrative at all. Justice League 3000 #8 is sabotaged by heavy exposition and a cover that spoils the cliffhanger.  It also has great Howard Porter art and a charm that I can't put my finger on.  Maybe it's the unique setting and characters, but I still enjoy it even when it isn't great.  I can't recommend this issue to anyone not reading the series already, but if you are, you know what to expect. "Justice League 3000" #9 is a fun little book. It helps that Batista's art looks great, and I love the little oddities that exist here, like Green Lantern still being the size of a chipmunk but piloting around a green-light human-sized form with him in the pocket. I hope that the next part of this story leads us back in the direction that issue seven put us on. Because other than the 22 pages of that comic, this series has been one of, if not THE biggest disappointment in the third (or was it fourth?) wave of the New 52. Step it up, guys. It is what it is. I gave it 8 issues because I believe buried under all the exposition there is good premise here but this arc is stuck in Neutral.It was strong out of the gate but never found a balance between story and action. It's disappointing because I like Porter and the work J.M. DeMatteis is doing in Justice League Dark as of late but with the 30 to 40 books I read a month this one has found itself off the pull list.
