Comics Bulletin - Ray Tate
Sep 30, 2006I don't remember why I skipped these issues. It may have been due to a fear of the issues being incorporated into the nu DCU, or perhaps I assumed Geoff Johns was doing them and simply ignored them. Serendipity provided me with a second chance, and I'll probably seek out the finale next week. These were very decent comic books. Read Full Review

Comic Book Revolution - Rokk Krinn
Jun 24, 2006A good, solid yarn, worth every cent. The art and words combine to tell a fun story, one that feels like it means something to the JSA's world. It also manages to let the good guy and the bad guy win. Neat trick. Read Full Review

Comics Bulletin - Michael Bailey
Aug 01, 2006In The End: I don't know. Maybe I'm being too hard on the writing. I could be judging the story based on the previous one, which isn't a good thing for a reviewer to do. That is the trouble with reviewing comics. Most of the issues are far from stand alone, so how do you judge the story based only on a single chapter? On a more positive note, I did think that the art was great. I enjoyed Derenick and Farmer's work on "A Game of Chance," and their interpretations of the Justice Society were fantastic. I am going to try to hold off final judgment on this arc until it is finished. I just hope it ends better than the last one. Read Full Review
