Jonah Hex #61

Perhaps one of my favorite aspects of this particular issue was Jordi Bernet's art. He's been a part of Jimmy Palmiotti and Justin Gray's run many times, but his Mei Ling is a definitely throw back to golden age art. To be more specific, Mei is definitely reminiscent of an Asian Betty from Archie. I've always liked Bernet's style for this series because it's more than interesting or pretty. It sets a tone that tells you that you don't have to expect the darkness of something like The Punisher. Hex might be a stone cold killer, but his comic series is right at the top of my list of the most entertaining books on the shelves. Read Full Review
