While I have my thoughts on just where the story is going and a few of what the next reveal will be, Harley Quinn #14 was full of little amazing surprises. The covers by Derrick Chew, Riley Rossmo, and Bengal are jaw-dropping, to say the least. “The Verdict”- Part Two has been a wild ride, one that I fully endorse taking a bite of. Harley Quinn #14 is a decent issue overall.  Unfortunately, Rossmo's stylistic design of Batwoman is more distracting than interesting, and Phillips ignores specific dangling plot points in favor of moving the story forward.  Nevertheless, the big moments make sense, and Phillips lays the foundation for a good mystery surrounding Verdict's identity. Harley Quinn #14 is a mixed bag; the story is solid, setting up what's to come and potentially dropping hints about who the fake Harley really is. And I look forward to Harley and Batwoman teaming up; they're such different characters that their interactions will be entertaining. This is the first issue of this series that is firing off all cylinders. Artwork, I love. Kevin & Batwoman storyarc, just pure love. Harley's characterization and arc are paying off here wonderfully. Stephanie Phillips and Riley Rossmo have found their footing, and while they've always been strong, this arc is reaching their potential in colorful strides! Can't wait for next issue!
