Harleys political arc is a lot of fun. Going forward, I would love to see more satirical scenes like DePertos worst nightmare in this issue. I was actually more captivated by that scene than all the action beats with Poison Ivy green-ing the city. This issue had a lot to juggle between DePerto, Harley making the city a better place, and the new romantic subplot. I hope they can keep the momentum going. Read Full Review

Harley's bid for mayor is about to get turned on its ear as she pulls a publicity stunt to try to pull ahead in the polls while simultaneously falling hard for Mason Macabre who I'm really hoping is not long for this world. The book may telegraph too much, but I'm frankly okay with that and am not hoping for some big 11th-hour twist. This is the second book this week in which I wish Scarecrow was more of a main villain, but his rather theatrical exit from the mayor's office is well worth wading in. Read Full Review

This is astrong book. Its light and casual, but in the world of comic books, thats notalways easy to pull off without going off the rails entirely. Conner andPalmiotti have turned a villains henchwoman into an A-list character. Its notoften one gets to see someone rise through the ranks to stardom. Read Full Review

Despite being part three of an ongoing arc it would be fairly easy for anyone who has some knowledge of this current incarnation of Harley to pick this up and get caught up. The writers do a good job of referencing past events to keep everyone up to date and Harley herself is such a random character that it rarely matters what has come before, just what happens next. If you already love Harley like the rest of us this will be an easy recommendation, however if you are totally new to her antics it might be better to jump back a few issues or wait for the next storyline to begin. I'm not too crazy about this arc, and unfortunately with Conner and Palmiotti leaving, their writing is getting weaker with trying to wrap the story up. I love this series so Ill be sad to see it end. Im open to new writers in the future. I am looking forward to seeing the results of this election though! Read Full Review

This was a perfectly fine and, at times, pleasant issue of Harley Quinn. And if that's how Palmiotti and Conner want to go out, I suppose that's fine, too. But me personally, I'm hoping this is all set-up for some really great, emotional twists in the end. Read Full Review

A dropped ball from last issue and a fumble in this leads to multiple field goals from the opposing quarterback. Or something like that. Very little of consequence happens in this issue, but you'll get a whiff of what's to come when Frank Tieri takes over in five issues. So that's something. Read Full Review

This was all soap opera which isn't necessarily a bad thing but nothing that dramatic happened. The Scarecrow vs The Mayor would have been an awesome scene but it was ruined by The Mayor's extra long overly cartoony nightmare. And the cliffhanger would have been more attention grabbing if the story actually shared what kind of threat/mindgame could get a bad ass like Harley Quinn so hot and bothered. And for every character growth/development moment the feeling of disconnect from the rest of DCU just reinforces the sense that this title is not important to DC canon-makers' time. On the plus side, the art was very good despite being covered by a very talkative amount of word balloons.
