Harley Quinn #24

This is a fun issue of Harley Quinn but the timing feels unfortunate. With Harley on the verge of returning to Arkham since she last saw the Joker more than two years ago, this feels like a digression following the appetizer that may be tasty, but gets in the way of the main course. Yes, it's salad. Very tasty and nicely accoutered, but salad nonetheless. Enjoy a small portion, but come back next month for the steak and potatoes that are sure to follow! Read Full Review

There are a lot of Harley books out now, but this felt like more of the classic Harley that we have all come to know and enjoy. All in all, this is just a very fun book with some great over the top action and it builds to quite the cliffhanger. Read Full Review

This issue might not get to Arkham Asylum to the very end, but it is a fun, action packed issue that is pretty much all filler.  It felt more like a commercial for the next issue instead of a necessary read, but Chad Hardin's art and some good one-liners made it less painful.  If you are a fan of Harley, you shouldn't be that upset, but if you are looking for Harley in Arkham, come back next month. It seems we'll have to wait another month for the "Harley Quinn in Arkham" storyline that was promised. This issue becomes distracted by a less compelling conflict that results in little more than Harley and her friends killing a bunch of mercenaries. Visually distinctive, but otherwise not particularly memorable. Read Full Review
