Green Lantern Corps #14

We knew that Guy Gardner was headed for a downfall so while it wasn't surprise to see it happen both the execution of the plot and the dialogue far exceeded any expectation I had for how the Guardians were going to move Guy off the chessboard.   An expertly crafted script with artfully crafted visuals Green Lantern Corps #14 is in my opinion the best issue of the series thus far, earning five out of five lanterns. Guy and John have been going down their separate, yet intertwining paths for months now -- it would be nice to see them side by side to take on the Third Army, but the events at this issue's end have me worried for the future of the Corps.  Read Full Review

Artist Fernando Pasarin does a solid job throughout this issue, excelling most when we get to see his settings, such as Oa's buildings and the interiors of Guy's garage. As I've said before about his work in previous issues, some of his pages look too busy during the action scenes. It's safe to say that the opening splash page did not need to have every single piece of the shattered construct to be visible. Read Full Review

Another great issue by Tomasi & Pasarin! In my opinion, "Green Lantern: Corps" is the best book in the "Rise of the Third Army" crossover. Every issue has had memorable moments with lasting ramifications.

Despite the fact that Guy has the most cliche personality out of the 4 main GLs, GLC 14 is a pretty good issue
