Green Lantern Corps #27 is such a great step in the right direction.  John Stewart and the Corps are back being Space Cops , but all is not well in the Universe.  In fact, they are about to face their greatest threat from without and within.  Highly recommended. Read Full Review

The Green Lantern book Ive been waiting for continues to live up to my expectations. Seeing the Lanterns behave like actual law enforcers is a delightful shift from their saving the universe from cosmic apocalypses, which is seems like it should be another branch, is a breath of fresh air for well-trod characters. I truly hope this new role for Corps remains an ongoing thing, because I personally cant get enough of it and I know Im not the only one. Read Full Review

This issue was another solid issue from this creative team and it looks like it's all finally coming to ahead with the Green Lantern Corps annual later this month. The art by both Chen and Chang were well done and blended together for those few pages so it wasn't jarring, solid work from both artist. Read Full Review

Green Lantern Corps #27 is a great issue despite some artistic inconsistency.  While the book is very much hitched to the narrative in the flagship Green Lantern book the issue doesn't mandate that you are reading it.  In all honesty thought you'd be doing yourself a disservice by not reading both titles to get the whole story.  Four out of five lanterns. Overall, Green Lantern Corps #27 seemed to set up what is going to be an action packed annual issue. The new characters that were fighting along side John were interesting and hopefully we see more of them and learn about their history. Read Full Review

There's just something about the writing in this series that isn't clicking with me. The issue is good, and I like what Jensen is doing with the Corps and its various members here, but there's no real depth to what's happening. There's no heart. Read Full Review

This series is pretty much the little brother of the main Gl series. This issue is a prime example. Half the issue we get the same moment, that happened in #27 of Gl, but viewed by different perspective, because I guess it was necessary, but it also shows how much tied to the narrative of the other book, this one is. I mean I really like the other book, so I don't mind that at all, although I would admit that moment kind of breaks the pace and the focus of the issue, in otherwise quite focused issue. But then again, that's nature of the whole run, and for me that can even be considered a positive . There is really not much here. I mean the mystery is coming out nice and I love how we get those little pieces and also that's the writers t more
