  Green Lantern Corps has been one of DC Comics standout books since its first issue, and even with the creative team changes, it looks like it will continue to be a standout. Its going to be interesting to see the effect Ganthet will have on the future of the Corps now that hes down in the trenches.   Green Lantern Corps #48 was a solid start for the new creative team of Tony Bedard and Ardian Syaf. While I was not blown away by GLC #48 Bedard did show he has a good grasp of all the characters on this title, especially Ganthet. I still dont know if I am going to be sticking around this title for all of Bedard and Syafs run but I am willing to give them at least one story arc to convince me to keep GLC on my pull list. With that said this issue is a great jumping on point for new readers and if you are looking for more Green Lantern goodness than this issue is one you should pick up. Read Full Review

  The Weekly Crisis - Ryan Schrodt

  This issue isn't necessary bad, but its not that great either. The best way to describe it is to say that it is "just there." If you are hardcore fan of Ganthet or even John Stewart, you might get more out this issue than I did, but I was just tremendously underwhelmed.   "Green Lantern Corps" #48 isn't a bad book, but it's slightly forgettable. Nothing jumps out as a particularly great or awful moment, positioning the book exactly in the middle of the road. In comparison to the previous creative team on the title, that's a shame because it was so much fun in their hands. Still, it's just Bedard and Syaf's first issue. I don't want to write them off immediately out of the gate (especially since Bedard's written some fun outer space super-hero books in the past), but so far there's little to make me dying to see what happens next.
