Oct 15, 2009The main story on this issue is a definite winner with Kreisberg doing a great job of spinning out of his previous arc into a new story in a very natural way with great art by Norton and Sienkeiwicz. Unfortunately, the backup story completely derails the issue with a nonsensical narrative and simply disappointing art. If it were just a "bad" backup story, I wouldn't mind as much, but this one is horrible enough that by the time I was finished, I forgot how good the lead was. That's not a good thing.
