    Once again, Freedom Fighters is all about value. This denselypacked actionoriented comic gives you more story per page than nearly any other "big 2" comic with Palmiotti, Gray, and the fantastic art team giving you more for your $2.99 than you'd expect. There are some faults and inconsistencies, but for the most part, this is an awesomely crafted comic with bold memorable characters and an engaging highenergy plot that is definitely well worth your cash.     Give "Freedom Fighters" a peek through <A HREF="http://www.comicbookresources.com/?page=preview&id=7655&disp=table">the preview on CBR</A>, or if you've got three bucks burning a hole in your pocket, pick up an issue. This one is a good one to start with. It is unlike anything else on the stands today, and each issue finds ways to top the previous one, even if just a little. This issue moves from page one to the end of the book with only a handful of caption boxes as Black Condor struggles to regain his freedom. The rest of the book moves forward based solely on action.     Its still one of the most action-packed titles on the stands, but the drama is beginning to play a bigger part in the entertainment. Still, gaps in logistics and overbearing dialogue prevent Freedom Fighters from being taken more seriously than it could be. Read Full Review
